“Girl I want that Old thing Back!”
It’s been at least 7 years since I’ve had a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. I don’t know about you, but I used to DESTROY PB & J’s growing up!
This morning out of nowhere, I started craving one baddd.
Then I remembered that they aren’t the healthiest or didn’t fit my macros :/
So I thought how can I recreate this childhood fav into my diet and still accomplish my body comp goals?
The PB & J Protein Shake
This peanut butter and jelly protein shake is now one of my Go-To shakes. It’s so quick and easy to whip up, just blend the mix, add some plant-based protein, and quickly be ready for the day with a high protein breakfast.
At the same time, it’s also the perfect shake for a post-workout boost.
Caution: This MogulBody PB & J protein shake is extremely addictive!
Ingredients:
1 frozen banana
1/2 cup frozen strawberries
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
2 scoops of plant-based protein powder
2 TBSP natural peanut butter
1 tbsp flax seeds
1 cup (8oz) Coconut or Almond milk (our choice (optional)
Directions:
Combine ingredients in a blender and mix thoroughly until desired consistency.
